Outstanding Service and Contribution to the College by a Currently Enrolled Student: Erica Golin
You are a senior with a major in Psychology. Your legacy during your time at the College of Staten Island is one of service, leadership, and dedication to others. The list of the organizations and projects in which you have participated is lengthy and exemplary. You have been a Student Government Senator, a CSI Ambassador, a member of the Emerging Leaders Program, a mentor to students with disabilities through Project REACH, a student coordinator for CSI’s Relay for Life, and much more. Your passion to help others doesn’t stop there, however. In our community, you are also a regular participant for monthly food drives for emergency shelters on Staten Island, and you helped victims of Superstorm Sandy rebuild their homes and their lives as a member of All Hands Volunteers. Although you amassed this laudatory collection of service, you have still found the time to excel in your studies as a Verrazano School student, graduating summa cum laude.
We expect you to continue to shape the future of our world, as you have shaped the future of CSI, improving the lives of its citizens.
