Today, we honor with the Dolphin Award for Outstanding Service and Contribution to the College by a Member of the Non-Instructional Staff in Maintenance, Operations, and Security:
Vincent Bono, Administrative Assistant, Office of Buildings and Grounds.
You have been a full-time employee of the College for 14 years. In your current capacity you are responsible for every physical aspect of our 204-acre campus, the largest in New York City. Not only do you oversee the daily maintenance of the campus and construction projects, large and small, you also have to respond to the many emergency situations that crop up on a campus of this size, at all times of the day and night. Your friendly demeanor and willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in with your fellow staffers has also earned you their trust and respect.
Today, we salute your determined commitment to keeping our campus running smoothly and efficiently, and making it a beautiful place to learn and work.
