Dolphin Award for Outstanding Service and Contribution to the College by a Currently Enrolled Student: Rana (RJ) Mohammad
You are a senior with a major in Computer Science. During your time at the College of Staten Island, you have demonstrated an unyielding commitment and passion for excellence and service to the CSI community, and a relentless dedication to the student body. You have been described as “a natural leader,” and your service to this College bears witness to that fact. You have been Student Government President, the Vice President and Budget Chair of the CSI Association Board of Directors, Secretary of CSI Auxiliary Services, and the former Chairperson of the Campus Activities Board. In addition, you have served on a number of search committees and other groups such as the CSI Website Steering Committee. You were also one of 50 students in the 2014-2015 CSI Emerging Leaders Program, and you continue to lead, organize, and participate in many of the monthly service projects and fundraising events on and off campus, such as the Relay for Life on the CSI campus in the fight against cancer. Through all of your commitment, and your continued advocacy for the rights of CSI students and collaboration between all members of the College community, you continue to excel in your academic pursuits, earning an impressive GPA.
